If you're looking for a venue for 2025 look no further. We can host birthday parties, retirement parties, baby showers, weddings, and the list goes on. The only requirement if for you to pay the deposit before 12/31/24. You can hold your discount and book your date at a later time. Call our office for booking and additional information. This discount will go away after December. We've also never offered a discount on our private cruises before.

The Sandpiper offers a number of relaxing and fun cruises on the Maumee River in Downtown Toledo. Whether you are looking for a unique excursion with the family or a fun-filled night with friends, the Sandpiper has plenty of options to fit your needs.

Private Cruises
Charter The Sandpiper for a cocktail reception, champagne brunch or sightseeing cruise. Private cruises are perfect for your bachelor or bachelorette party, corporate events, and birthdays. You're in control of where we go, how it's catered, and the entertainment.

The Sandpiper is a 100-passenger cruise vessel located on the Maumee River.
The Sandpiper was built in 1984 in Maumee, Ohio. She has spent her entire career plying the waters of the Maumee River, however she has paid a visit to Monroe, Michigan, and many Detroit River locations. Constructed of welded steel, The Sandpiper is inspected annually by the U.S. Coast Guard.

Picnic Lunch Cruise - Join us for an extended lunch break on a 2-hour tour of the Maumee River, come see what downtown Toledo has to offer. Cruises travel along the river to view stately homes, yacht clubs and some amazing wildlife. This cruise is catered by Los Toros Catering (American cuisine). BYOB.

Join us aboard the Sandpiper as we embark on a two-hour historical cruise on the Maumee River! Learn more about the history of the River and downtown Toledo. Learn all the things that have made Toledo the great city it is today. As we travel along the river, we will encounter a number of historical sites along the way.

What is your favorite decade? We encourage you to join us for a different decade every month. We will have decade specific music and encourage you to “dress the part” as well. We will include music from 1960's-1990's (June 1960, Jul 1970, August 1980, September 1990), a different one each month.
